Terms of Service
Last updated: March 30, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Vocal Confidence and its services. By accessing and using our website, attending our workshops, or engaging with our content, you agree to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately.
Acceptance of Terms
Your use of our platform and participation in our public speaking anxiety reduction workshops constitutes your agreement to comply with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations. We provide workshops, resources, and guidance on presentation skills, vocal projection, pacing techniques, and managing nervousness through breathing and posture exercises. By registering for our workshops or accessing our content, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms or engages in conduct we deem inappropriate or harmful to other participants.
User Obligations
As a user of our services, you agree to use our workshops and resources only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment. Specifically, you agree not to harass, threaten, embarrass, or cause distress or discomfort to any other workshop participants or staff members. You must respect the confidentiality and privacy of other attendees in our small-group environments. You agree not to record, photograph, or reproduce any workshop content, participant contributions, or instructor materials without explicit written permission. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials or personal information you provide to us.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, methods, and resources provided through our workshops and website, including but not limited to presentation techniques, vocal projection exercises, breathing exercises, pacing strategies, and instructional guidance, are the exclusive intellectual property of our organization. These materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish, or otherwise use any of our content without our prior written consent. Your participation in workshops grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the materials for personal development and practice purposes only. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Limitation of Liability
Our workshops and resources are provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that participation in our workshops will eliminate public speaking anxiety or result in specific presentation outcomes. Individual results vary based on personal effort, practice, and application of techniques. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or inability to use them. This includes damages related to loss of profits, data, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so this provision may not apply to you.
Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our workshops and services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include violation of these terms, harassment of other participants, unauthorized recording or reproduction of content, or any conduct we deem harmful or inappropriate. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. You remain responsible for any outstanding fees or obligations incurred prior to termination. We may also terminate these terms and your access if you fail to respond to communications regarding account status or policy violations. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations or liabilities incurred before the termination date.
