Background

14 Years Helping People Find Their Voice

Síle’s journey into presentation coaching started with a colleague’s struggle. She watched someone incredibly capable freeze during a critical business pitch, and realised something wasn’t right—the training available focused on techniques and structure, but ignored the real issue: anxiety itself.

That gap drove her to pursue formal training. She studied psychology and speech communication at Trinity College Dublin, then completed advanced certification in somatic therapy and vocal projection techniques. Over the next 14 years, she worked as a corporate communications trainer with companies across Dublin, Cork, and Galway, gradually specialising in what she’d discovered worked best—small-group workshops focused specifically on anxiety reduction.

Her breakthrough came in developing a structured framework combining three core elements: vocal projection and pacing techniques (so you’re actually heard), nervous system regulation through breathing and posture work (so your body stops fighting you), and space to practise short talks in genuinely supportive environments (where it’s safe to find what authentic sounds like for you).

What drives her now? That moment when someone discovers their speaking voice isn’t dependent on their nervousness. When they realise anxiety doesn’t mean they can’t present—it just means they need to learn to speak authentically alongside it. She’s witnessed this shift in over 2,500 participants, and it’s the reason she shows up to every workshop.

Philosophy

How Síle Works With People

Evidence-Based, Not Theoretical

Every technique Síle teaches comes from research or real-world testing. Breathing practices from somatic therapy. Vocal projection methods from speech communication science. Pacing strategies from presentations that actually work. You’re not learning abstract principles—you’re learning what’s proven to help.

Anxiety Is Normal, Not the Problem

The goal isn’t to eliminate nervousness. It’s to learn you can speak authentically even when you’re anxious. Your body’s response is actually protective. The skill is learning to work with it, not fight it. That’s what changes everything.

Small Groups, Real Support

Síle’s workshops are intentionally intimate. Maximum 8-10 people so everyone gets individual attention and actual practise time. You’re surrounded by others working through the same challenge. It’s not a seminar where you sit passively—it’s an environment where practising feels safe.

Authenticity First, Technique Second

You’re not learning to become a polished speaker who hides nervousness behind a persona. You’re learning to be a genuine speaker who’s comfortable in your own style. The techniques serve your authenticity, not the other way around.

Expert Insight

What Síle Believes About Presentation Skills

“Most people think presentation skills training is about technique—how to stand, where to look, what to say. But I’ve found the real breakthrough happens when someone realises their nervousness isn’t a weakness to hide. It’s information. Your body’s telling you something matters to you. Once you learn to work with that signal instead of against it, everything changes. You stop performing and start presenting. And that’s when people actually listen.”
